Hello Berroco Fan!

As you may know, Berroco has partnered with a few select companies around the world to bring quality yarns to North America. One of our closest partners is Amano Yarns, maker of luxurious alpaca, alpaca-blend, and vicuña yarns that are inspired by the Andes Mountains.

Amano has four new yarns for fall 2019, and they're all so stunning! Let's meet the new line-up!

First up is Chaski, a blend of merino, cotton, and linen in a fingering weight yarn. This yarn has beautiful stitch definition and would work for a wide range of projects, from socks to shawls and even garments!

For fans of Amano's Mayu yarn or lace yarn in general, there's the new Mayu Lace. This luxurious blend of royal alpaca, cashmere, and mulberry silk would be wonderful for small accessories to cherish for years.

Last year, Amano introduced Yana and Yana XL, two bulky+ weight yarns featuring 100% Peruvian Highland wool. This year they have two more additions to the Yana line—Yana Journeys, the same yardage and weight of Yana but with a fun hand-dyed effect...

...and Skinny Yana, a lighter version of the 100% Peruvian Highland wool that packs 437 yards into 100 grams! Both Yana Journeys and Skinny Yana are incredibly soft single-ply yarns, with lots of yardage in each hank.
