Hello Berroco Fan!
As you may know, Berroco has partnered with a few select companies around the world to bring quality yarns to North America. One of our closest partners is Amano Yarns, maker of luxurious alpaca, alpaca-blend, and vicuña yarns that are inspired by the Andes Mountains.
Each season, Amano teams up with knitwear designers to create the Amano pattern books. Martha Wissing is one such designer who has worked closely with Amano over the years, designing pieces such as the Alma Cardigan, Carolina Shawl, and the Copa Topper.

A NEW ADVENTURE WITH MARTHA WISSING AND AMANO YARNS
Recently, Martha traveled to Peru to visit the Amano yarns team and to film a video tutorial for Knit Stars! If you don't know, Knit Stars is an online video series featuring some of today's top designers, instructors, and thought leaders. Each season features a specific theme, and this year the theme is "Alpaca My Bag"!
It's no wonder that Martha and the Knit Stars team teamed up with Amano Yarns—Amano is best known for their beautiful, high-quality alpaca and alpaca blend yarns. And Knit Stars is known for delivering awesome inspirational and instructional video content from renowned designers and teachers and taking their viewers on armchair tours of the world through knitting and crochet. This year, Knit Stars will have a special focus on South America and sustainability, and together, Knit Stars, Amano Yarns, and Martha Wissing make the perfect team.
