Spring/Summer 2009 Photoshoot
This was my first time shooting a season's worth of booklets with Berroco. It was crazy but exciting. Being on such a small design team requires some Olympic-level multi-tasking. Shopping for garments and accessories, dressing the models and sets, consulting with the photographers on locations...we do it all, usually while putting the finishing touches on a garment. Not a lot of sleep, LOTS of treats to keep our spirits up, though! I couldn't resist whipping out my tiny camera at the photo shoots. See our snapshots. If you'd like to see the chaos behind the calm, check out our Behind the Scenes videos.

As always, you can hear more in-depth design notes by listening to our audio slideshows. We have one for each booklet published this season and one for each of the two stories Norah Gaughan vol. 4.

Phannie is a crocheted beret designed by Mrs. Phoebe Gaughan, Norah's mom. It's an adorable accessory that adds a sweet touch of color to the winter grayness lingering in New England. Pure® Merino DK is comfortable to wear and comes in a range of saturated Pure Merino DK shadesshades. Strong primaries like Cardinal and New Navy will coordinate with many outfits, as will neutrals like Baker's Chocolate.
