The second story in Norah Gaughans 5th seasonal collection is called Bright Women.
It is a range of sweaters knit in electric jewel tones that are upon closer inspection,
quite classic. As we head into the winter season I have a hard time not daydreaming
about adding some of these cozy cold-weather staples to my wardrobe. Sweaters like
Curie and Goodall are knit in lighter weight yarns and are perfect layering sweaters.
Curie features classic gansey styling in Ultra® Alpaca Light. If you want something a little more luxe, take a look at Goodall, a lushly textured turtleneck knit in
sumptuous Inca® Gold.
If youre looking to stand out in a sea of plain down coats, consider knitting Potter, a smart double-breasted peacoat knit in Pure® Merino, a super soft Italian wool that has excellent stitch definition and great body. Morveau, knit in chunky Peruvia™ Quick is another coat with lots of personality. It has a button on bib and a densely textured fabric that will keep you toasty warm. Giliani is a long cardigan meant to be worn open, the perfect antidote for a drafty living room.

Mead was designed to be a flattering classic for all shapes and sizes. Sized from XS to 2X , the cabled, lacy surface belies its completely straightforward construction.
Happy knitting,
