Get a closer look at each pattern booklet. Norah and I talk you through each garment, showing alternate angles, close-ups, along with our personal tips and tidbits.
When we're scheming up new designs, we will often let the yarn dictate the patterns. That was certainly the case with Berroco Glint™, a new spring offering made of a crisp cotton cable formed around a glittering metallic thread. The lightness of the cotton cage keeps the metallic from being bothersome or overly shiny, and the effect is subtle and perfectly suited to summer garments.
The sophistication of this yarn and the subtle palette of earthy hues with just a handful of strong, jewel-toned brights said 70s to us. We borrowed the loose, shoulder baring feel of disco garb and kept things light with lace and dropped stitches. Watch our audio slideshow to see how modern the 70s can look.
