Get a closer look at each pattern booklet. Norah and Cirilia talk you through each garment, showing alternate angles and close-ups, along with their personal tips.
Knitting cables for the first time was an eye-opening experience for me. It helped me realize that every impressive-looking cable pattern is actually built from a very simple, straightforward technique. After mastering a basic cable, a whole world of possibilities opens up. In the final booklet of the Fall/Winter 2011 collection, Norah Gaughan vol. 9, Norah explores how far this technique can go, with exquisite results.
For her inspiring collection of cabled masterpieces, Norah used classic wooly yarns from the Ultra® Alpaca and Peruvia® families, along with the soft Blackstone Tweed® line and glittering Blackstone Tweed® Metallic. Half of the collection features feminine, romantic silhouettes worked in soft, heathered shades, while the bolder, dramatic half uses brilliant, bright colors. Watch the audio slideshow to see additional photos and hear more about Norah's designs. If you're a fan of Norah's eye-catching patterns, be sure to take a look at her previous collections, too.
