When designing with a smooth, colorful yarn like Berroco Floret™, it’s important to choose stitch textures that can play a supporting role while still focusing on the yarn’s gorgeous multicolored shades. Norah and I made a point of sticking to this philosophy while designing the garments and accessories in Booklet #332. Each item features interesting details like elongated stitching or a simple lace pattern, but the stitches are still simple enough to let the yarn’s inherent beauty shine through. To hear Norah and Andra (our New England sales rep) discuss the designs in detail, watch our audio slideshow.
This cute cropped cardigan features stripes of texture, including garter stitch ridges and dropped yarn overs interspersed with stockinette.
