Berroco Maya®

Marvelous Maya®

When I first started at Berroco, Maya® was one of our most popular new yarns and it’s easy to see why. A surprisingly brilliant blend of baby alpaca and pima cotton, Maya is soft without being too warm for spring and summer. And can we talk about the colors? From earthy pastels to vibrant heathers, this yarn has a shade for every knitter! Best of all, Maya has a gauge of five stitches to the inch, which makes it easy to substitute for some of our older patterns! We’ve picked out four designs – originally knit in a shimmering, variegated yarn – that we think would look beautiful knit in Maya. Do you agree? Download the PDFs and start knitting.

We’ve got something new for Maya, too. Desertbloom is this week’s free pattern and my first design with Berroco!
