Combining Knitting & Crochet - Leocadia, Free Pattern

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Have you come up with any resolutions for 2015? I hope to explore new places, and to continue to grow as a designer and maker. In the pursuit of learning new things, I asked another member of the design team to help with this issue of KnitBits. Alison Green is a designer, technical editor and basically, the glue that holds our department together. In our new how-to videos, she teaches us some ways to combine knitting and crochet in one pattern. Follow along as Alison demonstrates how to crochet into a knitted piece, and how to pick up and knit into a crocheted piece. Both techniques are used in today's free pattern, Leocadia, which is made in Berroco Cosma™ and designed by Alison.
