3 Knitting Patterns for Kids and More!
Many of my friends are having their first babies, so I've been knitting a lot of small projects these days. Or knitting baby blankets, which are not so small (and I may be a little bit behind my self-imposed deadlines on thoseoops!). We've published a lot of knitting patterns for kids here at Berroco, including these three new patterns from Booklet #374 Picnic.
Parsley, designed by Brenda York, is knit in Berroco Remix™, a blend of nylon, cotton, acrylic, silk, and linen. This is a great sweater for kids who like to collect treasuresthe front pocket is a good size for any perfect seashells or rocks gathered on an outing. (Don't worryRemix is also machine washable.) Alison Green's cabled cardigan Jonquil is knit in Berroco Modern Cotton™, and that perfect combination of being interesting to knit but not so fussy that kids won't wear it. Finally, Sorrel is a sweet tunic knit in Berroco Weekend® DK. Designed by Amy Christoffers, Sorrel features just a touch of lace at the bottom edge, creating simple, subtle pleats.
Picnic features seven other knitting patterns, including five for women and two great blankets in a celebration of three great warm-weather yarns from Berroco. Take a peek at the Picnic lookbook for more information on all ten patterns included in this book.
