Meet Our New Silk and Wool Yarn, Get a Free Pattern
We’re excited to introduce Berroco Ginkgo™, one of our new yarns for fall 2016. Ginkgo is a delightful blend of 52% silk and 48% wool. The combination of fibers results in a slightly tweedy effect in the knitted fabric that’s super soft and comfortable to wear.
Booklet 376 Berroco Ginkgo features six brand-new knitting patterns for this beautiful yarn. Nadia is a seamless sweater, knit from the bottom up, with a simple but stunning colorwork yoke in three colors of Ginkgo. Janna uses two colors of Ginkgo with varying-width stripes to create a long, looping cowl. Azusa is an easy hat with a contrast color of Ginkgo at the brimknit two hats with the colors reversed from two balls of yarn. Knit side-to-side, Jessamyn features a cartridge rib texture in this open-front cardigan. Play with colors in Aini, a long scarf worked in stripes and eyelets that’s fun to knit and wear. Finally, Tala is an asymmetrical stole knit with garter ridges and eyelets with a clever construction.
Let us know which pattern from Booklet 376 is your favorite! Just head to our Facebook post about Ginkgo and like (or love!) the photo for the pattern you like best.
