Berroco Millefiori™ is our most colorful new yarn for fall 2016. A single-spun blend of wool and acrylic, Millefiori comes in eight shades of bold variegated colors. This yarn is ideal for simple projects in both knitting and crochet—the six patterns in Booklet #377 Berroco Millefiori utilize easy knitting stitches to let the yarn do all the pattern work.
Cilka is a cardigan with waterfall fronts, worked in reverse stockinette pieces and seamed to maximize the color-changing effect of Millefiori. The Kaleen cowl uses two colors of Millefiori in a simple slip-stitch pattern knit in the round for a subtle texture. Jolana is a cozy ruana, seamlessly worked in garter stitch. The Ruza mittens have an extra-long cuff to keep cold breezes from sneaking under your jacket sleeves. Katka is a simple hat worked in fisherman's rib and one ball of Millefiori. And Kveta uses two balls of Millefiori to work a simple garter-stitch shawl with a clever fringe technique.
