News from James C. Brett Yarns!
Only a few short months ago, Berroco became the U.S. distributor for James C. Brett Yarns. We're so happy to announce this partnership and perhaps introduce you to the incredible yarns and great patterns that we're sending to shops across the United States.

It all began in England in the 1960s. James C. Brett, as a sales representative for other yarn companies, drove around the countryside in a van filled with yarn. He realized there were remnants of yarn left at the mills, and decided to delve more deeply into the yarn business. He purchased the remnants, balled them up, and sold them from a market stall in Leeds Market. James' yarn business grew and grew, and today, Jamie Brett, James' son, runs the company from an old mill building in Bingley, in West Yorkshire.

James C. Brett yarns are known for their incredible softness and color palettes. The family of Marble yarns, available in chunky and DK weights, are dyed in long-color repeating shades for grown-up garments and baby projects. Flutterby Chunky is a great choice for quick projects for babies and soft, squishy toys. Many of the patterns are still only available in printed leaflets—let your LYS know if there's a pattern you want, and they can order it for you!
