New Year, New KAL with One of Your Favorite Patterns

We have so many exciting things to share with you that we're bursting at the seams!

Welcome to the new year! New year = new Berroco yarns, new Berroco patterns, new Berroco yarn partner, and new Berroco knit-along. You'll have to wait a little while for the new yarns and pattern announcements, but we wanted to make sure you knew about our upcoming KAL.

A couple of years ago, we did a KAL for one of our customers favorite Berroco patterns, the Aidez cardigan. We decided we'd do another Berroco Favorites pattern! Starting February 1, we'll be knitting the incredibly popular Mrs Watson from Berroco Portfolio Volume 1 with anyone who wants to join.

Mrs. Watson is knit in two colors of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light. The original pattern calls for 3 hanks of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light in the color 4209 Moonshadow, and 2 hanks of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light in color 4288 Blueberry Mix. For this KAL, you can combine any of the 33 shades of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light to knit your own Mrs. Watson, OR you can use any other Berroco yarns.

To participate in this KAL, you'll need:

the pattern, which is available as a digital download or part of the Portfolio Volume 1 book
Berroco yarn
a Ravelry account or a Facebook account (either of these are free)

This week's free pattern is Paulie, a modular knitted blanket pattern that uses three shades of Berroco North Star. The entire throw is knit seamlessly, using picked up stitches and an I-cord edging for finishing.
