Cozy up with Plush baby knits

Get ready to get cozy!

This season, Berroco Plush® makes a return in two classic shades. This 100% nylon yarn is spun in a bouclé-like fashion to create an incredibly soft and cozy yarn, perfect for faux shearling edges (as seen in Gardiner) and especially for baby projects!

Back when Berroco Plush and Berroco Suede™ were originally released, knitters and crocheters everywhere were making really cute baby booties out of these great yarns. We've got a brand new free pattern using these two yarns to make faux moccasins for wee little feet.
The Baby Mocs use one ball of Berroco Suede in 3717 Wild Bill Hickock to knit the feet and one ball of Berroco Plush in 1901 Cream for the faux-shearling edge.

The Cow Spots Blanket mimics a cow hide in Berroco Plush, using 7 balls of 1934 Black Out and 6 balls of 1901 Cream.

We've also got two free patterns from the archives that use Berroco Plush.
Baby Yeti is a quick little hooded baby sweater to knit with Berroco Plush, using 2–4 balls of 1901 Cream.
And Meenie combines Berroco Plush and Berroco Suede again to make a double-sided baby blanket.
We love knitting for little ones, and Berroco Plush is a great choice for incredible softness. Not only does it make cute garments and blankets, it can also be used in simple stuffed animal patterns, perfect for cuddling! We do recommend hand washing the finished projects, so keep that in mind.

Happy knitting,
