Explore new ways to use Berroco Millefiori® Light!

Last spring, we introduced Berroco Millefiori Light, a sport-weight version of Berroco Millefiori. This blend of 50% wool and 50% acrylic fibers is double-printed with colors to create richly saturated shades that stood on their own in Booklet #393 Berroco Millefiori Light.

For this seasons mini-PDF collection, we wanted to explore how Millefiori Light works with solid color yarns, as well as how different shades would work well together! To that end, we have two projects that use traditional stranded colorwork—one shade of Millefiori Light held with one shade of Berroco Ultra® Wool Fine. We used the same pairing plus brioche knitting for a show-stopping poncho.

Which of you fell in love with Fern, our sweet kids poncho knit with Berroco Pixel™? So many knitters loved it and wanted a grown-up version, so here you go! Adriana is a free poncho knitting pattern made knit with one shade of Berroco Millefiori Light. The center panel is knit first, then side panels are picked up and knit with shaping to create a swingy layering piece.

Happy knitting,
