Today's email has a guest-author—our resident Remix-lover, Donna Yacino!
Donna is our pattern support guru—if you email us with pattern questions, you'll be chatting with Donna! (Email us at patternsupport@berroco.com.) When she's not helping knitters and crocheters out, she spends a lot of time raving about her one-true love—Berroco Remix® and Remix Light! Take it away, Donna!
I have been using Berroco yarns since 1985. Since that time, there have been many beautiful yarns that have come and gone. I still have some of them in my stash. However, I. Love. Berroco Remix®.

I love how it smells. I love how it feels while knitting with and wearing it. And I have loved it since it arrived on the scene in 2010. If you have a sensitivity to wool, Remix is a great choice, as it has no wool. It is nylon, acrylic, cotton, silk, and linen. It knits like a dream. And it’s 100% recycled.

And even though I have these deep feelings for Remix, I had always wished we would someday have a lighter version. Finally, it happened! Berroco Remix Light is a DK weight of the same gorgeous, wool-free yarn that is perfect for spring and summer garments. Here are three patterns I designed using my favorite yarns.
There are plenty more patterns for both Remix and Remix Light that I love—I've knit Cassia and Sawtelle three times each, and I really want to knit the Amber Waves Shawl designed by Leah Thibault. Find more patterns for Berroco Remix and Berroco Remix Light on our website.

This week's free pattern, Rosaline, uses one of the new shades of Berroco Remix Light to create this breezy pullover! Knit from the bottom up in pieces, Rosaline features curved hems and raglan sleeve shaping. A simple stitch pattern is worked with two different sizes of needles.
Happy knitting,
