How do you decorate for the holidays?
Many of us in the United States will be celebrating Thanksgiving this week, which means that the holiday season is upon us! Over the years, we've created some wonderful free patterns to help get folks in the holiday spirit AND use up some scrap yarns—here's a round up of some of our favorites!
If you're looking for some wintery or holiday decor, we've got cute free patterns for both knitting and crochet projects: three stocking patterns to knit with Berroco Macro, two snowflakes (both crocheted; Berroco Mykonos is a great choice for these!), and two Santa hat patterns (one knit and one crocheted) made with Berroco Ultra Wool and Berroco Plush!
We've got some adorable little free patterns that we've released around the holidays in the past, like this collection of free birdie patterns! How cute would they be as holiday ornaments, or little home decor accents?
And of course, we have many years' worth of Minutia patterns! Dozens of tiny patterns (mostly sweaters with some accessories thrown in) to knit or crochet as gift tags, ornaments, and more! This year's minutia collection will be available later this season, but we have plenty of options available right now if you want to get started.
We fell in love with the Jólaskjól pattern from our friends at Lopi, so we created our own! The Cherry Cordial tree skirt is knit with Berroco Macro and supersized needles for a quick project. The cable knitting pattern begins in the center and is worked to the outer edges.
Will you be making any gifts this year?

Happy knitting,
