As you may know, Berroco has had a long relationship with LANGYARNS—we've been the U.S. distributor of their fine quality yarns for more than 25 years. LANGYARNS recently launched a new yarn brand, and we're so thrilled to be the U.S. distributor for WOOLADDICTS. Let's take a look!

WOOLADDICTS taps into that joyful simplicity that we love. With a limited palette of 11 colors dyed on 5 types of yarn, the WOOLADDICTS collection creates a cohesive look and feel. From top to bottom in the photo: Earth is a super bulky blend of alpaca, acrylic, and wool in a 2-ply yarn. Air takes extrafine merino and spins it around a nylon core for strength, for a fluffy, cloud-like fabric in a bulky weight yarn. To the left is Water, a 100% crimped alpaca yarn that works up at an Aran-weight gauge. The fabric that Air makes is dreamy—slightly textured, slightly fuzzy, entirely cozy. For those of you who like thinner yarns, Love pairs super soft extrafine merino with just a touch of nylon in a lightweight chainette yarn. It's categorized as a light fingering, but the recommended needle size is a US 6, so don't think you'll need tiny needles for this yarn. Finally there's Fire, a super bulky blend of extrafine merino and nylon that knits up so fast, you'll be done before you know it.

The 40+ patterns in WOOLADDICTS #1 (Ravelry link) are simple and inspirational, "wear everywhere" pieces that are cozy and chic. The project difficulty ranges from sublimely simple to slightly more complicated, but pretty much every pattern is easily achievable for beginning knitters—the smallest recommended needle is a US 6 (and the largest is a US 13). You can purchase the patterns individually from the WOOLADDICTS site or through Ravelry, so they can stay in your library. Take a moment to flip through the lookbook and find your inspiration project.
