Top 30 of 2008This past year, 2008, has brought many changes to Berroco. We welcomed Cirilia Rose to the design staff in August and she’s been proving her skills as writer, designer, stylist, researcher and more, ever since. At the same time, we were thrilled to have the indispensable Donna Yacino to handle pattern support, KnitBits® proofing, trunk show organization and so much more it makes me tired just to think of it. Donna’s fabulous designs grace our pages as well. Meanwhile, our creative director, my friend and mentor, Margery Winter, decided that the time had come to move on to new exciting ventures after her long reign at Berroco. I know I speak for the entire company and KnitBits audience when I say we will all miss her and that we sincerely wish her much happiness and adventure.

To celebrate the end of this singular year, Cirilia, Donna and I thought we’d review our favorite patterns from the last 12 months — the ones we are longing to knit for ourselves, are dying to wear, put to use in our homes or make for our friends. We’ve included the briefest of explanations for each choice in the hope that it's fun to get to know us a little better.  Top 30 of 2008
