Video - Seaming Tutorial: Mattress Stitch
"I hate seaming!" I can't tell you how many times I've heard this refrain from knitters of all ages and skill levels. Aversion to seaming has fueled a resurgence in the popularity of no-sew methods. Knitting in the round on circular needles, sometimes from the top down has supplanted the traditional back-front-sleeves arrangement. There are tons of heated debates to be had about the merits of each approach but we're here to help eradicate your finishing fears.

This week marks the introduction of a series of new video tutorials. We're starting with mattress stitch which is often used to attach NaturLinvertically aligned pieces with the right sides facing towards you as you sew. This ensures a beautifully invisible join. Watch as Norah demonstrates on this week's free project, Pluie, a quick one skein soap holder knit in Naturlin™.

VideoIf you take the time to learn the appropriate method for each seaming situation you will start to find finishing quite gratifying.
