This week we bring you our second Vintage™ collection, Booklet
#293 Vintage™ Family. Since this soft yarn is machine-washable
and
affordable, it was the perfect candidate for a family wardrobe. The wool,
acrylic and nylon blend is durable and comes in a range of shades (including
13 new brights for spring) that will appeal to all ages, from baby sister
to Daddio.
Like a family, these garments are related but unique. The Pekin tunic for toddlers and Serama cardigan for women share an a-line shape and an easy lace stitch. Lakenvelder and Sebright each have a cushy slipped stitch ribbing and a masculine saddle shoulder. Dad's has a stand-up collar while little brother's has a hood. Watch our audio slideshow to get a closer look at all of garments in Booklet
#293.
These patterns were designed for active families who need to throw on a
sweater and get on with their day. It was inspired by the young family who owns and operates Red Comb Farm, a fledgling organic egg farm in Vermont. Read more about our photo shoot at the farm here.
Happy knitting,
