Garments and high-quality commercially knit fabric panels left over from the ready-to-wear industry are collected from across Europe and sorted by fiber, then color. Since these pieces are pre-dyed, there is no need to dye them again, which saves water and prevents water pollution.
Instead, colors are created by carefully blending garnetted fibers.
Garnetted fiber is the result of shredding old textiles to make a new, fleece-like fiber that is ready to be spun into a new yarn.
That fiber creates our Remix family of yarns which is perfect for sweaters, home goods and accessories alike.

Happy July! The temps are fluctuating here in New England which makes me happy to knit smaller projects while also keeping a sweater or two in the mix. I am LOVING the Remix Chunky collection and am already scheming to make the Hanneli pullover as a "live in" kind of sweater for fall.
Our Berroco Makers group is hanging out waiting for our next make along which we will be making Tees in the month of August! A perfect "bang it out" kind of project.
