We loved working with Elizabeth on her designs in Berroco Portfolio projects—she designed the Camden Hills poncho for Berroco Portfolio Volume 4, and the Addilyn Capelet and Brooklin Vest for Berroco Portfolio Volume 2.
We partnered with Elizabeth to help celebrate the launch of our newest Berroco Ultra® Wool addition—Berroco Ultra Wool Chunky! Our 100% superwash merino yarn got an upgrade to the chunky yarn category, for quick knitting and crochet projects that are machine washable. It's available in 31 shades, and you need two of them to knit the Happy Harvest poncho—there's a small wedge of a contrast color on the back (though you could of course knit the whole thing in one color if you desire). You only need 5–7 balls of the main color and 2 of the contrast color to knit the whole set!
Are you in? We've got a thread going on the Berroco Lovers group on Ravelry or you could join the Happy Harvest Knit-along group on Facebook (you do not have to participate in both; we'll be chatting along in both spaces and sharing relevant information between the two). There's an optional Knit-along email list as well if you want updates delivered directly to your inbox. And we'll be posting updates on the Berroco Blog and sharing photos on Instagram with the hashtag #happyharvestKAL. Elizabeth will be popping up on both Facebook and Ravelry to chat with you and help answer any questions, and we just know it's going to be a blast!
