Nancy McGlynn
Trained as
a designer Nancy finds fiber to be her
perfect medium. Her life is filled with
yarn, fleece, spinning wheels, cats
and a wonderful community
of knitters.
Knitting tip: Add a selvedge
stitch to your knitting project and
work it in garter if you are seaming
the edge or slip it for a nice smooth
edge if it will be visible -- the edges
of a scarf, for instance.

Tobi Beck is an IT Services Director in
Indianapolis IN. She loves all crafts and lately has fallen
in love with the portability of socks.
Knitting tip: When doing stranded color work, to get a
looser end result, work inside out. Carry the yarn on the
outside with the finished knitting on the inside. This
stretches the yarn a little more, and gives greater
ease in the finished work.
